About the Dentists

Dr. Craig Sjoberg

Dr. Craig Sjoberg ("Sho-berg") graduated from the University of the Pacific Dental School in 1980. He began his career as a full-service dentist, including four years of hospital dental surgery. Additionally his strong interest in orthopedics/orthodontics began in 1981. Since then he has treated thousands of cases, including re-treatment of difficult orthodontic and TMJ cases referred by other practitioners.

Since then his practice has grown many times over and now provides the highest quality of dental care to thousands of patients from Pleasanton, Dublin, Livermore and San Ramon.

In addition to general dental training, Dr. Sjoberg has thousands of hours of specialized training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Orthopedic facial bone structure guidance for children and treatment of headaches, pain, and other associated TMJ problems.

Dr. Sjoberg is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, the International Association of Orthodontics, the American Association for Functional Orthodontics and Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation.

When he's not treating patients, Dr. Sjoberg can be found behind the throttle of a twin-engine Mitsubishi plane. Flying has always been a passion of his, and today Dr. Sjoberg is working towards earning his full commercial pilot license.

Dr. David Love

Dr. David Love received his dental training at U.C. San Francisco, graduating in 1994.

Afterward he participated in a one-year general practice residency at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Palo Alto. Following his residency Dr. Love joined his father Dr. Harry Love and practiced for fifteen years in the mid-peninsula and six years in Carmel.

Dr. Love has received specialized training in cosmetic dentistry and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association and California Dental Association.

When he is not treating his patients Dr. Love can be found in his family's wine cellar tending to his homemade Pinot Noir or in his garden growing exotic tropical flowers.
